Welcome to our website! Popkollo is a popular music camp for girls that started out in the small village Hultsfred in the summer of 2003. Our agenda is to work in a positive and constructive way to encourage and empower young girls to realise all the opportunities they are surronded by rather than the limitations, and music is the means we've chosen for that purpose - for so many reasons. Our goal is to achieve an equal music business regarding the balance between men and women.

This summer Popkollo takes place in six cities around sweden, with the variations of Original, Elektro, Hiphop, Metal and Continuing. 270 girls will participate.

Popkollo is a proud affiliate of the newly founded Girls Rock Camp Alliance, where we share common ground with 25 other rock camps for girls over the world.
